How to delete your account and associated data?

Method 1. In the app

  • Open the Folengo app and log in to your account.
  • Go to the “Settings” tab.
  • Scroll down to the “Delete account” section.
  • Tap “Delete account” and enter your password to confirm.
  • Confirm the action. The account and all associated data will be deleted immediately and cannot be restored.

Method 2. In the personal account

  • Open the website (https://cabinet.folengo.com/) and log in to your account.
  • Go to the “Settings” tab.
  • Scroll down to the “Delete account” section.
  • Tap “Delete account” and enter your password to confirm.
  • Confirm the action. The account and all associated data will be deleted immediately and cannot be restored.

Method 3. By email (for Google or Apple login)

  • Send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Account deletion”.
  • This applies only if you signed in via Google or Apple and do not have a password.
  • The email must be sent from the same address used during registration.
  • The request will be processed and the account will be deleted within 30 days.

What data is deleted?

When the account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Profile: email address, name, password, selected languages
  • Subscription status and payment information
  • All word lists and user-generated content
  • All learning progress, statistics, ratings, and game settings

What data is retained?

Anonymous technical crash logs (Sentry), not linked to the user’s identity, are stored for up to 90 days and then automatically deleted.
Data that we are legally required to retain (for example, accounting records of payments) is stored for the legally required period in anonymized form.
